Terms & Conditions

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and capable of forming a legally binding contract to use Rentwise. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

Rentwise uses Google Sign-In as the only authentication method. By signing in, you authorize Google to share your name, email, profile photo, and account identifier with Rentwise. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and for all activities that occur under your Rentwise account.

You retain ownership of the data you submit to Rentwise (properties, tenants, rent records, expenses, etc.). By using the Service, you grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, and display your data solely to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

All data is stored in a secure database hosted on Microsoft Azure. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose.
• Upload or transmit malware, viruses, or harmful code.
• Attempt to access accounts, systems, or data not belonging to you.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or interfere with the Service.
• Use the Service to harass, defraud, or violate the rights of others.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without consent.

When you add tenant information, you represent that you have the authority and necessary consent to do so under applicable laws. You are responsible for ensuring your use of Rentwise complies with local tenancy, privacy, and data-protection regulations.

Some features of Rentwise may require a paid subscription. Pricing, billing cycles, and refund terms will be presented at the time of purchase. Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law or expressly stated by us.

You acknowledge and agree that we may use aggregated, de-identified, or anonymized data derived from your usage of the Service for internal research, analytics, and product improvement, as further described in our Privacy Policy.

We strive to keep Rentwise available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend, modify, or discontinue features of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Service (excluding your data) — including software, design, branding, trademarks, and content — are owned by Rentwise or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works without our written permission.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. Provisions that by their nature survive termination will survive, including intellectual-property rights, disclaimers, and limitation of liability.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rentwise and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or INR 1,000, whichever is greater.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rentwise, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your data, or your violation of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of India.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
